From Laredo, Texas to Lake Winnepeg, Manitoba
Highway US59 starts in Laredo, Texas. Freer is the first town on the way north. Between Laredo and Freer is 59 miles, the first 59 miles of our exploration of US59 that started in February, 2005, after our wedding. This was the beginning of our extended mulit-year honeymoon.
