VOTEHERE is an election year project of Ukranian/Russian/American
New York based artist Irina Danilova. Upon becoming an American citizen in 2000,
she decided to share her vote with all those who don't have the right to vote.

Non-USA-citizens, under 18, mentally incompetent, or currently in prison

Irina Danilova will vote for the candidate who garners the most.

VOTEHERE is giving everyone an opportunity to express an opinion for the USA
Presidential Election. It is also a metaphor for the power of the individual vote.

Chronology:

July 2000: Irina Danilova became citizen of USA

August 2000: VOTEHERE project was announced

August 2004: VOTEHERE 04 website with online voting was established

October 2004: VOTEHERE web site was hosted by Art in General

November 2nd 2004: Hiram Levy was appointed to submit International Vote in Pennsylvania
while Irina Danilova placed National Vote in New York

VOTEHERE 08 will combine National and International votes into one
that will be submitted by Irina Danilova on November 4, 2008 in Brooklyn.
